Coming for the weekend? Most guests arrive on a Friday and stay three nights.
Our holiday homes are for coming back to: no parties or events, and no hen, stag or similar groups.
How do I book?
Send an enquiry with your dates and who’s coming. We reply with availability and a price. You can also find both holiday homes on Booking.com.
How many people do they sleep?
Each holiday home sleeps up to seven. Eagle’s Nest has a double, two twin rooms and a sofa bed; The Sanctuary has an extra-large double, two twin rooms and a sofa bed.
Can we book both?
Yes, ask us. Between them they sleep up to 14. Both are on Fallbarrow Holiday Park. No parties or events, and no hen, stag or similar groups.
What are the holiday homes like?
Both are modern static caravan holiday homes on Fallbarrow Holiday Park. Each has three bedrooms, a kitchen and living room, a deck and free parking.
When can we arrive?
Check-in is from 4pm. Most guests arrive on a Friday or a Monday.
Are they open in winter?
Yes. Both holiday homes and the park are open all year.
Is there parking?
Yes, free private parking at each holiday home. Most guests leave the car there and walk into Bowness.
How good is the Wi-Fi?
Honestly, patchy. The park says connectivity can vary, and guests have found streaming unreliable. Both holiday homes have a TV. Don’t plan on video calls.
Can we bring the dog?
Please ask before you book.
Are they suitable for wheelchair users?
There are steps up to both holiday homes and the park has some hilly ground, so they are not step-free. Ask us about your needs before you book.
Can we have a party or a celebration?
No. There are no parties or events at either holiday home, and no hen, stag or similar groups. Bowness has plenty going on a few minutes’ walk away.
Do children need anything?
Children of any age are welcome. Cots and extra beds aren’t available, so bring a travel cot if you need one.
Is there a deposit?
Yes, a refundable damage deposit of up to £100, returned after check-out.
Can we smoke?
Not in either holiday home.
Are the bedrooms big?
Eagle’s Nest has a double and The Sanctuary an extra-large double. The twin rooms in both are compact.
Is this a Parkdean booking?
No. Both holiday homes are privately owned and you book with us.
Can we use the park’s facilities?
Ask us when you enquire.
How far is the lake?
The park has its own access to the water’s edge, and the cruise boats leave from Bowness Pier, about seven or eight minutes’ walk from the park gate.
